Brentano String Quartet To Present Schubert Octet March 29

There will be no charge for this special concert, in which the quartet will be joined by four noted New York musicians to play Schubert’s rarely performed Octet in F major.

Tenor Peter Shea To Offer German Songs April 26

Shea, a local tenor, will present "From Schubert to Weill: A Concert of German Lieder," on Thursday, April 26, at 4 p.m. in Porter House at Amherst College (next to the Lord Jeffery Inn).
