FastSpot, an award-winning firm that has built effective websites for outstanding colleges, universities and other nonprofits across the country.

Summer Internship—Office of Communications: Apply by April 29

Intern will coordinate production of the Student Handbook and organize first-year photos for student IDs and online directory. Experience in InDesign and PhotoShop required. Intern will gain experience writing articles for the College’s website and magazine. Relevant experience is desirable. Excellent oral and written communication skills and a keen sense of intellectual curiosity are a must. Intern will work 20-35 hours a week. Position begins June 1, ends mid-August, open to rising sophomores, juniors, seniors and pays $12 an hour. Summer housing provided.

Office of Communications

The Office of Communications tells the stories of Amherst College, providing the campus community, as well as prospective students, alumni and the public, with a look at Amherst's vibrancy and excellence. This office chronicles the achievements of the College and its faculty, students and alumni through articles, images, video and multimedia content on amherst.edu, as well as in print publications, on social media platforms and through outreach to local, national and global media outlets.
