AMHERST, Mass. – Frank E. Stevenson II, a member of Amherst College’s Class of 1977, will receive the school’s Medal for Eminent Service during its commencement exercises Sunday, May 24. The award is presented to a member of the Amherst community who has demonstrated extraordinary devotion to the college.

AMHERST, Mass.—The trustees of Amherst College have voted unanimously to award Alan S. Bernstein and Kent W. Faerber, both members of the college’s Class of 1963, the Medal for Eminent Service during commencement exercises on Sunday, May 26.

The Honored

At Commencement 2012, Amherst awarded seven honorary doctorates and a Medal for Eminent Service. The college also honored high school teachers nominated by graduating seniors.

AMHERST, Mass.—Businessman George W. Carmany III, a member of Amherst College’s Class of 1962, will receive the school’s Medal for Eminent Service during its commencement exercises on Sunday, May 20. The award is presented to a member of the Amherst community who has demonstrated exceptional devotion to the college.
