The Beneski Museum of Natural History

With more than 200,000 objects, the Beneski Museum of Natural History is one of the largest natural history museums in New England (after those at Harvard and Yale). The Museum houses a range of objects and specimens, including research and display collections in vertebrate and invertebrate paleontology, mineralogy, geology and osteology. Museum exhibits illustrate the evolution and ecology of major groups of fossil organisms and describe the geologic processes that have formed the earth and our local landscape.
