Hello again, internet! It’s been exactly a week since my last blog post. It’s been quite the eventful week and I’m excited to share it with my loyal fans!  (Side note: I’m gonna refer to you guys as LF, "loyal fans", from now on)

The Flip Side of Amherst

Soooo, not to be super cheesy guys, but I’m learning really cool stuff about Amherst all the time.  I love hanging out at and in Amherst during the year because there’s always so much going on, either on our campus, on one of the Five College campuses, or in town. 

Paul Rice, "Harnessing Markets for Social Change: The Case for Fair Trade"

Paul Rice, founding president and CEO of TransFair USA, the only Fair Trade certification organization in the United States today, delivered a lecture titled “Harnessing Markets for Social Change: The Case for Fair Trade” at 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, in the Pruyne Lecture Hall (Fayerweather 115) at Amherst College.

Art Student Bans Coffee At Amherst College To Highlight “War on Drugs”

May 9, 2001Director of Media Relations413/542-8417 AMHERST, Mass. - Andrew Epstein, a senior art major at Amherst College, convinced the college administration and dining hall to "ban" the sale and distribution of coffee at Amherst College, as part of a performance piece created to encourage thinking about the war on drugs. Epstein will discuss his work with the public in the Cole Assembly Room in Converse Hall at Amherst at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 10.
