A female employee not eligible for FMLA leave is entitled to a minimum of eight weeks of job-protected maternity leave per child for birth or adoption under Massachusetts law, after completion of a six month introductory period.

A female employee not eligible for FMLA leave is entitled to a minimum of eight weeks of job-protected maternity leave per child for birth or adoption under Massachusetts law, after completion of a six month probationary period. Available medial/family leave, floating holiday, or vacation days may be used as paid time off during this period. Short term disability and extended family leave are not available until one year of service has been completed.
