For Amherst College, the recent completion a five-year Habitat For Humanity construction project on Stanley Street means a job well done. For Ashlee Cancio-Bello, it means coming home, and a little something more.

“Habitat is like love in action,” said Cancio-Bello, who now lives in one of the houses that the college helped make a reality.

Third Amherst Habitat for Humanity Home Dedication Slated for May 8

AMHERST, Mass. – AmherstCollege and the PioneerValley chapter of Habitat for Humanity will together celebrate the completion of a third home in Amherst with a day of events on Saturday, May 8.

The freshly completed Habitat for Humanity house, built on a slice of land donated by the college, is a scene of blissful chaos.
