Greenwich (NY State line) to New Haven


0.0 Begin at Mill Street bridge across Byram River; ride east on Mill Street, which becomes Delavan Avenue[1].

0.5 Immediately after passing under I-95, bear left onto Ritch Avenue, which becomes Hamilton Avenue and then Old Field Point Road.

2.3 At traffic light, turn right onto Prospect Street.

2.4 Immediately after passing under railroad, turn left onto Horseneck Lane

2.7 Turn right onto Arch Street; pass under I-95 and continue straight ahead across Steamboat Road onto Museum Drive.

3.2 Turn left onto Indian Harbor Drive; continue straight ahead at traffic island onto Davis Avenue.

3.6 Bear left after crossing bridge onto Bruce Park Drive.

4.1 Turn left onto Indian Field Road.

4.3 Immediately after crossing over I-95 and before crossing railroad, turn right onto Sound Shore Drive.

4.8 Immediately after passing under railroad, turn right onto Station Drive which bears left and becomes Strickland Avenue.

5.1 Immediately after passing under I-95, turn right onto River Road and cross bridge.

5.8 Turn right onto East Putnam Avenue (U.S. Rt. 1).

6.3 At traffic light, turn right onto Lockwood Lane.

6.6 Turn left onto Lockwood Road.

7.3 Turn right onto Sound Beach Avenue.

7.4 At traffic island, turn left onto Laddin Rock Road and then immediately right onto Harding Road.

7.7 Turn left onto Brown House Road.

8.0 Bear right onto Selleck Street.

8.7 At traffic light, bear left onto Greenwich Avenue (unmarked).

9.0 At traffic light, continue straight onto Pulaski Street (unmarked) and cross bridge.

9.2 Turn left onto Washington Boulevard.

9.3 Turn right onto Henry Street.

9.6 Turn left onto Pacific Street.

9.8 Turn right onto Manhattan Street.

9.9 Turn left onto Dock Street; at traffic light, continue straight across Canal Street onto Jefferson Street.

10.4 At traffic light, turn right onto Elm Street.

10.6 At traffic light, bear left onto Cove Road.

11.8 Turn left onto Weed Avenue.

12.7 Turn right onto Boston Post Road (U.S. Rt. 1).

14.2 At traffic light, turn right onto Old King’s Highway.

15.3 Continue straight onto Locust Hill Road.

15.9 Turn left at stop sign and then immediately right at traffic light onto CT Rt. 136 (Tokeneke Road, which becomes Cudlipp Street and then Rowayton Avenue).

17.0 Turn left off CT Rt. 136 onto Wilson Avenue.

17.5 CT Rt. 136 joins Wilson Avenue; follow CT Rt. 136 through South Norwalk to Washington Street bridge across Norwalk River.

20.3 Continue on CT Rt. 136 across Washington Street bridge and through East Norwalk to Westport, crossing Saugatuck River on Bridge Street.

24.2 At traffic light, leave CT Rt. 136 and continue straight across Compo Road South onto Greens Farms Road.[2]

26.8 Continue straight across I-95 and railroad onto Beachside Avenue, which becomes Pequot Avenue.

29.2 At stop sign, turn right onto Westway Road.

29.4 Turn left onto Harbor Road and follow across Mill River.

30.2 Turn right onto Sasco Hill Road.

30.5 Turn left onto Oldfield Road, which becomes Old Post Road.

32.3 At stop sign, turn right onto South Benson Road.

35.2 After passing under I-95 and railroad, bear right onto State Street (one way road; use Fairfield Avenue westbound).

50.1 At flashing light, turn left onto Melba Street, which becomes Edgefield Avenue and then Merwin Avenue.

52.3 Turn right onto CT Rt. 162 (New Haven Avenue).

53.1 Bear right onto Ocean Avenue, which becomes Capt. Thomas Boulevard.

56.4 Turn right onto Washington Avenue, which bears left and becomes Beach Street and then First Avenue.

58.4 Turn right onto Elm Street, which becomes Kimberly Avenue.

59.3 Turn right onto First Street and then immediately right onto Greenwich Street.

59.7 Turn left onto Fifth Street.

60.1 At traffic light, turn right onto Long Wharf Drive.

60.9 End at intersection of Long Wharf Drive and Vision Trail (at Canal Dock).
