Jonathan J. Einhorn practices federal criminal defense law in New Haven, Connecticut at 129 Whitney Avenue , close to the federal and state courthouses. He has been a practicing attorney for more than 30 years, and is licensed to practice in the Connecticut courts, in the Connecticut District Courts, the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in New York City and in the United States Supreme Court.

He has been active in the community, serving on nearly every city board or commission, including the Police Commission for 9 years and the Board of Aldermen for 16 years. He is a Justice of the Peace and often services as a Special Master in both the federal and state courts. He often lectures lawyers on issues pertaining to trial practice. He is an Associate Fellow at Ezra Stiles College at Yale University and was recently appointed by the Governor to serve on Connecticut's Freedom of Information Commission.

Mr. Einhorn attended New Haven public schools and graduated Amherst College with a B.A. degree in 1970 and graduated the University Of Connecticut School of Law with a J.D. degree in 1973. For the past 25 years, he has run Eli Youth Lacrosse Association, a children's lacrosse league in Greater New Haven.

He has three children, one of whom is an attorney in New York City, one is a counselor at the Stamford Business School in Palo Alto, and the other is a producer in the Los Angeles area. He resides in New Haven and Westbrook, Connecticut.

In his free time, he plays tennis and races sports cars throught out New England in SCCA competition. He has a website atwww.jonathaneinhorn.com. At Amherst, where he was an English major, he was a member of the Varsity Football Team and Theta Delta Chi fraternity.
