I am the Administrative Assistant/Receptionist in the Career Center. I am a 2X survivor of Breast Cancer and a speaker for the American Cancer Society. I love reading, writing poetry, and journaling. I have led groups for Cancer survivors and their families on how to heal through writing. I am very glad to be a part of the Amherst College community and am looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible.

My husband Bob works for Solutia, making resin that is turned into the plastic in car windshields to keep them from shattering. When time allows he builds models of cars, trucks, planes etc., and belongs to the Wings and Wheels model club. We belong to the CVR car club and he enjoys caring for and showing our 3 antique vehicles, a 1950 Willy's Jeepster, a 1968 Corvette convertible and a Heinkle.
We have a daughter, Kelly who is an avid sports fan, especially of all teams Boston. She is a writer for the Hartford Courant.
Our son Dave graduated from The Boston Conservatory as a dancer. He enjoys all styles of dance but especially enjoys modern and improvisation. He works wherever the job takes him.
