NO2D Command Center

NO2D Command Center Well, I don't know who from the Class of 1960 still has eyes good enough to see that small picture. The picture shows the small corner of the basement family room where my computer and ham radio "stuff" is stashed. Lots of wires. A bunch of radios. Some computer stuff, but more around the corner out of sight. All pretty old.
This is where I spend a lot of my retirement time when the weather is like it is now in Colorado. Snow and very cold! In warmer weather I ditch this small prison for the streams up in the mountains to the west of Parker. There I tease trout, or perhaps suckers or whitefish, with small flies. Seldom do I do more than tease, so I must come home with large lies to make it sound like I caught something.
The ham radio call, if anyone is interested, is NO2D. I listen on the CW portions of the bands -- mostly 20 meters during the day. Parker, Co. is a long way from Amherst, so the ties to Amherst are rather thin these days. We do travel east a couple of times a year, but not usually to New England. We did, however, drive to New England this past October to attend a nephew's wedding in Peabody. Along the way we managed to stop at Sam and Jane's house, but Sam was off doing some public spirited thing, and we had a very nice chat with Jane.
Just want to put something up on the new Amherst what ever this is called to see if it works. Talk to me.
