It was a long journey to get to this point in my life. When I walked up that stage for the first time on Sunday, I was in tears becasue I had no idea, not one clue, what was going on. When President Marx called my name, I heard him but did not believe that he had called the right person. My classmates had to tell me to get up and walk toward the stage. I heard the claps, the calls, the sniffles from some of the people near me. I could not take any more and I began to cry myself. The second time, however, was the moment that brought everything together. Holding my diploma...my diploma. I can say that now, my momma can say that now, my brother can say that now...a member of my family with a college diploma. It was a great day. Enough said....

Us Being US!

This picture was taken after we went to go see "Stomp the Yard." I think that Tasha enjoyed the movie more than any of us. Maybe it was that scene when they were running to the top of the hill. LOL. We enjoyed ourselves adn had a ball at dinner. Meg, our favorite waitress, took the picture.

Me Being Me

I will miss the "Sunday Dinners" after the Hermenia T. Gardner Worship Service. They were always special to me. Even though I did not attend all of them over the last four years, I feel truly blessed to have went to the ones i did. The conversation we all had after those services were priceless. Sometimes they brought up topics that made everyone think about some of the stupid stuff we did in the days when we were young. Oh how will I miss those Sunday afternoons...

Thanks Issa
