Updating or Correcting Your 2024-25 FAFSA
The Department of Education has issued guidance regarding correcting or updating your 2024-25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®). Most of the questions on the FAFSA® want to know your situation as of the day you sign the application, but there are instances in which you’ll want to change the information you initially reported.

The 2024-25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now available. The FAFSA website is experiencing heavy volume, but many applicants have been successful in completing the FAFSA.
For all first time enrolling students, the FAFSA is not due for Amherst College until July 1, 2024.
Renewal financial aid applications are still due March 1, 2024.
Regular Decision applications for financial aid were due January 10, 2024. Late applications continue to be accepted. Details on your 2024-25 financial aid application and aid offer can be found on the Financial Aid Portal. The Financial Aid Portal is the fastest method to view your financial aid application and offer status.
The Student Accounts Office generates electronic tuition statements for each semester. The Spring 2024 billing email notification was sent on December 15, 2023. The balance is due by January 16, 2024. Additional online billing statements are issued monthly and include any miscellaneous charges, fees, fines and/or credits that are posted to the student’s account.
