This weeks, we read about AM in two patient populations that suffer from identity disturbances: depression and PTSD.  The obvious question this week, as it has been at several points throughout the semester is about the relationship between identity and AM.  Another interesting symptom that both populations seem to share (although there is some debate about this, as you know) is fragmentation of AM.  Thus, a second question to consider for this week is how fragmentation of AM might influence identity and whether the loss of memory detail feeds the symptomatology, which further serves to fragment AM, and so forth.
