COVID-19 Information

Johnson Chapel

In response to the evolving situation with COVID-19, the College has developed an extensive plan for Fall 2020. Learn about the guidelines for returning to campus and the latest changes to the academic program, housing, dining, athletics, and more.

Health and wellbeing are important at all times in our lives, but are particularly so during a global pandemic. This website provides information to our community about how to move toward wellness. All offices are still open, and emails and phones are functioning. Please feel free to reach out to staff members with questions or concerns. Some services and programs are not functioning in the way they would in a typical year (e.g. offered remotely instead of in person). Please see departmental websites for additional information.

We provide support, resources, and practical tools to help you thrive.

The foundations of wellbeing have been articulated in many cultures and societies for centuries: Love, work, and play.

We align wellness with many other initiatives at the college, to ensure that your wellbeing is an essential element of your Amherst experience.

This site is a guide and resource for you. We have strived to make it comprehensive and useful, and hope it will serve as a starting point for our community, at the very least. The site is not meant to contain all information and knowledge regarding health and well-being, but it will evolve as our community engages with these issues.
