Noah Morton describes his writing: "I studied abroad to Varanasi, India in Fall 2015 and India, Brazil and South Africa in the Spring 2016. Learning through apprenticeships and researching cremations in each city, I enjoyed learning through conversation. In the 2016 summer, I interned at a foundation in Athens and had conversations with people about people's lived experiences. In Fall 2016, I received funding to do a focus ethnography on education in Varanasi over winter break. In Spring 2017, I traveled to Grasmere, UK with a class during spring break to do archival research on The Wordsworths. A Moment Elsewhere is the writings from the travels."
