Professor Imani Perry will introduce her research on hip-hop culture and analyze the intersections between women, gender, and hip hop culture on Friday, Nov. 2, at 4 p.m. in Stirn Auditorium.
Perry is a professor at Princeton University's Center for African American Studies who studies race and African American culture using the tools provided by various disciplines, including law, literary and cultural studies, music and the social sciences.
