Over the past 34 years, Dr. John Erickson '82 has explored nearly every aspect of the biopharmaceutical industry, from biochemical engineer, to R&D project manager, to Vice President and Senior Fellow of Manufacturing Science and Technology at GlaxoSmithKline. He now wears multiple hats as the Senior Fellow and Acting Chief Technology Officer at the National Institute for Innovation in Manufacturing Biopharmaceuticals; President of his own bioprocess consulting firm; adjunct professor; and advisor and board member to other scientific companies.

If you are interested in careers related to biology, chemistry, biological / chemical engineering, or pharma, you should definitely join us for this presentation and the accompanying Q&A session.

Come learn about the moments that led John from biology and chemistry major and choir member at Amherst, to graduate work in chemical engineering at MIT, where he earned both his masters and doctoral degrees, and into the industry that he has thrived in for more than three decades.
