Alumni in Residence: Impact of Women in Technology & Finance with Crystal Valentine ‘04

The population of females in the world is 49.58%. 46.6% of the workforce in the US is female. And although about half of the entry-level finance workforce in the US is female, only about 6% of top public financial institutions have women in senior positions. And only about 26.7% of tech-related jobs are held by women. In a world where women comprise almost half of the population, why are the finance and technology industries so underrepresented by women?

Crystal Valentine has demonstrated her abilities and accomplishments as a woman in technology and finance. She’s excited to share her stories of succeeding in male-dominated industries and provide her advice to the next generation of females in finance and technology over lunch (provided).
