These programs are flexible, robust, and designed to meet the needs and interests of individuals. There are varieties of offerings that provide fitness and well-being opportunities for the entire community. Recreational fitness opportunities are available based on facility hours and season.

Courses are offered on a quarter basis, two units per semester, and one unit during the January interterm. Classes are offered on the same time schedule as all academic courses. Students are encouraged to enroll in courses that interest them and may obtain more information about the physical education and athletics program by visiting the Department’s website.

In an attempt to meet the needs and interests of the individual student, the Department offers the following:

2. Wellness & Lifetime Fitness Classes Wellness & lifetime fitness classes are offered throughout each semester on a drop-in basis. These classes include but are not limited to Yoga, Tai Chi, Feldenkrais ATM, Pilates, PIYO and Zumba.
