Join the Amherst Alumni Association of Oregon for bouldering at Portland Rock Gym’s Beaverton location! Regardless of if you are a regular climber or trying out the sport for the first time, this is a great opportunity to meet fellow Amherst alumni and friends of the college for some bouldering. Climbing shoes are available for rental and staff can show the basics to get you started safely. Admission and shoe rental is $30 (paid at the gym). Please note you should be able to fall approximately 15 feet onto a heavily padded surface without risk of injury if you wish to participate.
