In Memory

Pierre Bracq Moulton ( Peter or Pete to his friends and family) passed away March 18, 2012. Born in Cambridge, Mass., on Oct. 15, 1927, he attended Wellesley (Mass.) Senior High School and then served his country in the U.S. Army. At Amherst he was active in the Kirby Theater guild and the flying club.

These activities must have had an influence on his future, because he was basically in the airline business all the rest of his life, working for various companies, including Delta, Northeast and others, in both management and customer relations. Through this work, he lived in many of his favorite areas, including Key West, Fla., and Cape Cod, where he leaves many friends.

He leaves his brother, Hugh G. Moulton ’55 of Lafayette Hill, Pa., and several nieces and nephews. And he is survived by his friend of 47 years, Joel Blair.

His was an Amherst family that included his father, Robert ’15; brother Hugh ’55; and nephew Geoffrey ’80.

Peter’s affability and kindness earned him many friends in Boston, Cape Cod and Key West—areas he loved and where he spent much of his life.
