Frost Library, Center for Humanistic Inquiry

Please join us for a conference which aims to bring together inspiring Muslim women activists, artists and scholars to speak with one another and with our Amherst students, staff and faculty members, on a wide range of subjects, in order to foster learning and meaningful exchanges. This will be an opportunity for interdisciplinary dialogue. This conference intends to spark stimulating exchanges about the many ways Muslim women are inspiring and empowering others across categories of religion, gender, race, sexuality and gender expression.

All are welcome. Refreshments will be served during the "coffee break." This conference is free and open to the public, and is sponsored by the Department of French, the Dean of the Faculty, the Department of Anthropology and Sociology, the Office of Student Activities and the Turgeon Fund.
