Music Choral Society and the Center for Religious & Spiritual Life Vespers

The Amherst College Center for Religious and Spiritual Life and the Amherst College Choral Society present Vespers: A festival of Christmas readings and carols. 

Historic Johnson Chapel transforms for this annual staple of the holiday season. Celebrate the Christmas story as shared in nine readings by Amherst students, faculty, staff, and their children. The Choral Society, with guest musicians, will offer music that responds to the readings. Join us in song for carols and a rousing sing of The Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah at the end of the service. FREE, and open to the public.
