With Amherst’s campus subscription to lynda.com, students and employees (staff and faculty) can access more than 1,400 training videos that provide software and computer skills instruction. New courses are added every week.

Features and Benefits: 
Topics covered include how to use popular software such as Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop, and computer skills such as digital photography, music and video production, tips on using mobile devices such as iPads, home computing, animation, and web design and development. Each training topic is broken up into short video sections or chapters. View a section at a time or view all in a series to complete a particular topic. Some topics provide exercises you can use to follow along and practice what is being taught.
Requirements: 

You can access lynda.com with any web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, etc.) and use a computer or mobile device including iPhones, iPads, iPods, Android phones, and e-readers that can play video such as Kindle Fire and Nook Color.
