Amherst Biology students and faculty are engaged in inquiry that spans various levels of organization in the living world, from the molecular and cellular to the ecological and evolutionary.

We offer courses for students with career interests in biology, and for students who are not majoring in science but who wish to study modern biology as part of a liberal arts education.
