The Reflections on Teaching podcasts gives listeners an opportunity to go, as it were, behind the scenes with the faculty of Amherst College. Why does a professor make certain the pedagogical choices? Has their teaching changed over the course of their career at Amherst, and if so, why? How would they define good teaching? What do they not emphasize in your teaching that others seem to think is very important? These are some of the questions and issues that we’ll explore in these conversations.
