The mission of the Meditation CRG is to provide an opportunity for staff and faculty who are interested in meditation and mindfulness to practice together in a safe space, for grounding,  relaxation, and joy.

No meditation experience is necessary. All are welcome!

Associate Director of the Writing Center

Emily is an Associate Director in the Writing Center, has a Ph.D. in Religion and Literature, has practiced Buddhist meditation for over two decades, and has experience as a Spiritual Director.

Places to Meditate on Campus

  • The chapel space in Chapin Hall. Open for sitting whenever nothing else is taking place there. Zafu sitting cushions are available in the Closet.
  • Mind Spa at Keefe. Staff and faculty can book half-hour sessions on Wednesdays.
