Fixing a Flat Tire and Routine Bike Maintenance

Have you gone on a bike ride and had a flat tire? Do you have a bike sitting aroung that doesn't get used due to a flat tire? Ever wanted to learn how to change and replace a flat tire?

The Outdoors CRG is hosting a bike repair clinic focusing on how to keep your bike rolling this summer. This one-hour introductory session will focus on some basic skills, starting with how to fix/replace a flat tire. The clinic will be "hands-on" and participants will practice fixing a flat. You may bring your own bike or wheel, and there will be practice wheels available to work on.

To ensure everyone has an opportunity to practice, this clinic will be limited to 15 participants. Register early to reserve your spot. This session is free for any staff and faculty members.

Depending on the interest level, the Outdoors CRG hopes to offer additional clinics in the coming months focusing on different bicycle maintenance skills.

Please come back and visit the Outdoors CRG webpage to learn more about us and to view the listing of upcoming events.

This clinic will be conducted by staff from Speed and Sprocket Cycle Works.
